heading for nothing but one-liners

Ok, so how many times do I have something to blog, go for the editor, and then get called away ? Happens all the time. Just too busy. Got too much going on.

It's not a technology problem, really. About the only thing at this point that would allow me to blog a little more frequently is a technology not yet developed, that allows one to blog directly via a 'mindlink'. Yes, it is definitely a wireless technology, that allows one to take one's thoughts and as soon as they are conceived, to have them instantaneously entered into the blog. Can you imagine ? Sorta like a Mind-To-Text-Interface (MTTI).

But that is not what I am here to write about. No. That is a crazy idea. Can you imagine if you pulled the trigger too quick, and blogged that which was completely unintended ? Horrors! And then, can you imagine, to further punish you for such a careless use of the MTTI, that Google sweeps through and indexes your careless thoughts for all the world to see ? Whoa, now you are in trouble.

No, I am not here to wish that I had an MTTI into this blog. I do come up with lots of content these days, still. Just don't have the opportunity to sit down and lay it in. Part of that is because my evil pointy-haired editor is still on the Coremania payroll. Don't know why, because I am sure that at the last Coremania AGM, I forwarded a motion to have the position done away with. That surely would have done him in. Just don't like him shoulder-surfing on the creative process so hard. Like, for the most part, our professional relationship is fine. He knows that I want to author in a certain way, to express things with a certain spirit, and to reflect a certain voice. Often doesn't come out that way in real-time, so he gets me to spin it this way and that. Takes a bit of time, that's all. And time is what I do not have these days.

Now sometimes, I get on a roll, and am just bustiing with Creative Non-Fiction. I get in the zone. Somebody said to me recently, I have a tendency to go in bursts. Yeah, I like that. BAM BAM BAM, whacking the keys real hard. It gets physical when the fingers are racing along the keys. Somehow, I taught myself to type this way.....this keyboard technique I have is not exactly touch-typing at its finest. No, it is some sorta hack on keying properly. Check out this for a keyboard technique; every now and again I catch myself strumming the keys. Yeah, as if the keyboard was a piano, and I am basically going from way up high, to way down low, and striking every key in between, real fast. There's a name for that in piano terminology, but I do not know it. Now, I do not do this a lot, but just every now and again, as if I am punctuating what I just keyed in, or emphasizing what I was keying about. Why do this? Not sure. Only happens when I;m in that zone.

Will I get to this entry's topic ?

I think that I may soon adopt a new blogging strategy. I will fire the editor, and just enter one-liners. It is so far from where I want to be, and I do believe that less is more. However, I'm missing out on getting some things out here, and I'm hoping that I can still provide some value for myself by using this technique. We'll see what happens.....
